Vietnam women's volleyball team rose 1 place to 39th in the world .

Unlike other sports rankings that are updated weekly, Volleyball rankings are adjusted immediately after the match ends.

Accordingly, with the victory over the Singapore Women's Volleyball Team in the second match of Group B of the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup, the Vietnamese girls accumulated 1.82 more points to increase 1 place to 39th place in the world, previously occupied by Peru with 98.36 points (1.05 points more than Peru).

However, the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team has yet to return to the top 5 in Asia after being surpassed by Korea a few days ago.

The latest rankings have just been updated by the World Volleyball Federation.

At the 2024 Women's Volleyball World Cup (VNL 2024), the Korean team defeated the Thai team - a team currently in the top 15 in the world - with a score of 3-0, so they were awarded many points on the rankings to rise to 37th place in the world.

At this year's AVC Challenge Cup, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team is the second highest ranked team in the tournament, after Kazakhstan (ranked 31st in the world). Therefore, if we win the match against Kazakhstan taking place today (May 24), our girls will certainly accumulate more big points to continue to advance in the World Volleyball Federation's rankings.
