In their previous participation in Vietnam last year, the young Cambodian women lost both matches against the Vietnamese and Philippine teams, conceding 12 goals without scoring a single one. However, at the 32nd SEA Games on home soil, the Cambodian women’s players showed a very different side with a 2-0 victory over Laos in their opening match.
