CASEP and seafood businesses said: In recent months, many seafood processing and exporting businesses in the province have encountered difficulties in tax refund procedures, causing difficulties for production and export. Many businesses have had to repeatedly adjust tax records, prolonging the tax refund period and increasing the risk of being fined for late payment; tax refund procedures are currently complicated, requiring additional documents many times, affecting the cash flow, loan limits and capital turnover cycle of businesses. In addition, businesses also face difficulties due to lack of capital and lack of certified raw shrimp sources to compete for export to European and American markets.

To resolve the above difficulties, CASEP recommends that the Provincial People's Committee propose to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance and relevant ministries and branches to soon issue unified instructions on new tax refund procedures; adjust the tax refund process in a simple direction, shorten processing time, allow more flexibility in international payments and increase the application of technology in verifying tax refund records...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su acknowledged and shared the difficulties of enterprises in implementing the new tax policy; at the same time, he emphasized: While waiting for new regulations on tax procedures, tax authorities need to both perform the task of collecting budget revenue and support and guide enterprises to reduce difficulties in tax refunds; the banking sector needs to be flexible in lending to remove capital difficulties for enterprises.

For businesses, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su suggested paying attention to the issue of irradiation in shrimp, avoiding radioactive contamination, affecting exports and product quality, contributing to promoting the province's seafood exports in the coming time.
