Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness of preventing, detecting and handling corruption and negative waste, strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people in the leadership of Party committees at all levels.

Identifying that preventing and combating corruption is a task with “no forbidden areas and no exceptions”, Party committees and organizations have seriously implemented the regulations of the Central and the province on controlling power, preventing the abuse of positions and power, and controlling power in personnel work.

The work of detecting and handling corruption, waste and negativity continues to be promoted; Party discipline is implemented resolutely and synchronously with strict handling measures, demonstrating the determination to "clean up the apparatus".

The key and breakthrough tasks and solutions to improve the effectiveness of waste prevention and control, especially reviewing and handling projects and works that are behind schedule, have backlogs, are prolonged, and have the risk of causing loss and waste; reviewing, arranging and handling headquarters, houses, land and surplus public assets after the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus and administrative units are urgently and resolutely implemented; the work of recovering corrupt, wasteful and negative assets is being promoted...

In addition to the achieved results, the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity still has some limitations. Through the presentations and discussions at the conference, we have recognized, evaluated and proposed solutions to contribute to implementing the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity more effectively in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Vo Van Dung requested Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province to continue promoting the achieved results, quickly overcome limitations and shortcomings in accordance with the Party's policies, the Central's direction and the expectations of the entire Party Committee and the people. At the same time, it is necessary to deeply, comprehensively and accurately assess the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity in the past period, thereby proposing specific and appropriate directions and tasks in the coming period. Actively coordinate in the investigation, prosecution and trial of cases; shift the mindset from prevention to prevention of violations of corruption, waste and negativity associated with controlling power in public asset management, personnel work and other sensitive areas.
