After the Newspaper reported the news, on April 14, Tay Ninh Electricity Company issued a written response regarding the process of receiving and handling the case of the low-voltage line after the meter that the Newspaper had published.
Specifically, on March 18, Tan Chau Power Company under Tay Ninh Power Company received information from a reporter of Tay Ninh Newspaper about low-slung power lines and many joints in Tan Hung Commune, Tan Chau District. Tan Chau Power Company's leaders promptly sent staff to the scene to survey, grasp the current situation, and coordinate with customers to agree on a treatment plan.
The above low-voltage line is recorded as a line after the meter belonging to the customer's property, using power from the meters installed at pillar 254/23/1 of the 75kVA Tan Trung 13 transformer station, pillar 254/23, line 477TH, Tan Trung B hamlet, Tan Hung commune, Tan Chau district.
Tan Chau Electricity has coordinated with customer Mai Van Suu (landowner affected by the above power line) to coordinate on-site survey, advise and guide customers, and agree on a treatment plan.
On March 25, Tan Chau Electricity issued document No. 275/DLTC-KHKT to relevant electricity customers in the above area to notify the situation of low, tangled, and many-jointed power lines and to advise on how to handle the situation.
Tan Chau Power Company has requested these customers to quickly fix the power lines to ensure safety according to regulations before April 30, 2025. If the customers have not fixed the problem by the above deadline, Tan Chau Power Company will temporarily suspend the power supply according to current regulations.
Currently, there are 34 customers using electricity on the above mentioned low voltage line. Since most of these customers use electricity to water custard apple trees, they are not often present in the power supply area... however, Tan Chau Power Company has also contacted the customers.
On April 10, Tan Chau Electricity coordinated with the People's Committee of Tan Hung Commune and Tan Trung B Hamlet to organize a meeting with relevant households. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed as follows: the Electricity sector will provide technical advice and estimate the construction of new power lines that meet technical and electrical safety requirements in the above-mentioned area; households will agree to contribute to the cost of building new power lines for their agricultural production areas as soon as possible.
Thus, the initial steps show that the problem of tangled and dangerous power lines for many households in Tan Trung B has been resolved. Hopefully, in the near future, the 34 electricity customers here and Tan Chau Electricity will soon join hands to overcome the situation of overlapping and messy power poles and wires, which have caused the risk of electrical accidents over the past 8 years.
