Attending the Gameshow were comrades: Major General Le Hong Nhan - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Military Region 4; Major General Hoang Duy Chien - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Major General Nguyen Chi Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Militia and Self-Defense Forces (General Staff); representatives of leaders of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces.
The game show "Colors of the Square Star" in the second quarter of 2025 is an attractive and useful playground for the Militia and Self-Defense Force, organized by the Militia and Self-Defense Department (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army), the Military Radio and Television Center (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) in coordination with the Command of Military Region 4.
The organization of the game show aims to promote the propaganda, dissemination and education of laws on local militia and self-defense forces and military defense; comprehensively reflect the work of force building, training activities; typical good people and good deeds in the militia and self-defense forces... contributing to educating patriotism and military and defense knowledge to officers and soldiers in the armed forces and all classes of people.
The game show “Square Star Colors” is held in rotation at key units throughout the army. Participating in the game show at Military Region 4 this time are 4 teams, including: Song Lam Team (Nghe An Provincial Military Command); Ham Rong Quyet Thang Team (Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command); Thanh Sen Team (Ha Tinh Provincial Military Command); Quang Binh Hai Gioi Team (Quang Binh Provincial Military Command).
At the game show, the 4 teams took turns going through 4 rounds, including: The "Greeting" round with performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the traditions of the Army, the Militia and local traditions; The "Wise Square Star" round answered questions about legal knowledge about the militia, national defense, military and related legal contents.
The “Healthy Square Star” competition includes physical activities that demonstrate agility, coordination, dexterity, health, and a lucky spirit. The “Talented Square Star” competition is a theatrical performance that demonstrates talents in culture, arts, physical education, sports, and painting, reflecting the duties of the militia and self-defense force. There are also games for the audience and exchanges with the Square Star soldiers.
The recording session of the 4 teams in Military Region 4 this time attracted a large number of officers, soldiers and people to watch and cheer. The atmosphere of the program was exciting with the competitions imbued with military colors, high educational value and enthusiastic performances of the teams.
At the end of the game show, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to the host unit, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command and the Militia and Self-Defense Department (Military Region 4); awarded the first prize to the Song Lam team, the second prize to the Ham Rong determined to win team, and awarded two third prizes to the Thanh Sen team and the Quang Binh Hai Gioi team.
The game show “Colors of the Square Star” at Military Region 4 will officially air on May 19, 2025 on Vietnam National Defense Television, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025)./.
