In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Quang Ninh has 19,930 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of 1,966 candidates compared to last year. The whole province organized 1 Examination Council, arranged 40 examination sites (an increase of 3 sites compared to last year), located ateducational institutions that fully meet the conditions for organizing the exam according to regulations and convenient for candidates.
The distribution of examination sites is implemented in accordance with the actual conditions of each locality. Specifically: Ha Long City has 9 examination sites; Cam Pha City has 6 examination sites; Quang Yen Town and Dong Trieu City, each locality has 5 examination sites; Uong Bi City has 4 examination sites; Mong Cai City has 3 examination sites; Van Don District has 2 examination sites; the remaining localities each have 1 examination site. The total number of examination rooms in the province is 849 (an increase of 64 rooms compared to the 2024 examination), in order to better meet the needs of organizing the examination and ensuring examination conditions for candidates.
To organize the exam, the Department of Education and Training in coordination with the Provincial Police and the Department of Health plans to mobilize about 3,500 officials, teachers and employees to participate in the exam supervision task according to the exam regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training. In order for the exam to take place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations, Quang Ninh province has directed localities and functional agencies to strengthen coordination and fully deploy conditions regarding facilities, human resources, security and order, health and disease prevention at the exam sites. The work of ensuring traffic safety and traffic flow at the school gate area is also focused on to best support candidates and parents.
The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place from June 25 to 28. On the afternoon of June 25, candidates will go to the exam site to complete exam registration procedures, correct errors (if any), and listen to the announcement of exam regulations and schedule.
Tomorrow (June 26), candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program and candidates taking the exam under the current 2018 General Education Program will officially enter the first day of the exam with the Literature exam in the morning (120 minutes) and the Math exam in the afternoon (90 minutes).
On June 27, candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program exam in the morning will take one of two exams: Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education), each subject will last 50 minutes; in the afternoon, they will take a foreign language exam, lasting 60 minutes.
For candidates taking the current 2018 General Education Program, they will take 2 elective subjects out of the remaining 9 subjects of the 12th grade program, with 50 minutes per subject in the morning. June 28 is the backup exam date.
