Implementing the Government's major policy, the Thai Nguyen Tax Department has launched the campaign "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households". This is an important step to improve transparency and fairness in tax management, helping business households to be more proactive in declaring and performing electronic tax obligations.

Recently, with many synchronous solutions, Tax Base 1 (under the Tax Department of Thai Nguyen province) has proactively propagated and provided direct guidance in the "hand-holding" method, helping people carry out the conversion effectively.
The 60-day peak campaign was launched to accelerate the progress of converting the tax management model for business households. The goal is to help business households get familiar with using software, declaring and paying taxes electronically, towards more transparency and convenience. Not only organizing training conferences, Tax officers at Base 1 also directly go to each business establishment, guiding each operation so that households can master the tax declaration tool on the application software.
The Anh Thuy garment business of Ms. Nguyen Anh Thuy (in Phan Dinh Phung ward) has been operating in the fashion industry for many years, is a typical example. Initially, when switching from lump-sum tax to declared tax, Ms. Thuy was also confused and worried. However, after being trained and guided directly by the Tax officers of the first facility and the unit providing the software for sales management and electronic tax payment, Ms. Thuy has mastered the installation, operation on the software and self-declaration by phone, feeling that the work has become easier.
Not only Ms. Nguyen Anh Thuy, many individual business households in Phan Dinh Phung ward are also worried and anxious when changing the model. The form of lump-sum tax collection has been familiar for many years, now switching to declaring on computers and software is a challenge for traditional business households, especially the elderly, who have little contact with technology.
For example, Mr. Hoang Phi Hai's Hai Nguyen Auto Garage has been operating in the auto repair industry for nearly 20 years. His family was initially worried about switching to declaration due to being used to lump-sum taxes for many years. However, after participating in training and receiving enthusiastic guidance from Tax officers at the facility, Mr. Hai has mastered the technology, knows how to declare and submit electronic invoices, and evaluates the sales support software as very quick and convenient.
In addition to sending staff to the grassroots to provide guidance, just after a short time of implementing the campaign "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration", Base Tax 1 organized over 10 conferences, attracting more than 3,000 business households to attend.
At the conferences, tax officers and software providers provided instructions on installation, usage, and answered questions directly. Through this, many business households were also given detailed instructions on how to track revenue reports, create electronic invoices, and manage books, helping them to grasp the electronic tax declaration process.
To date, thousands of business households in the central wards of the province have completed the conversion. According to Mr. Do Xuan Tam, Head of Tax Department 1, this number shows the effectiveness of the campaign and demonstrates the cooperation and consensus between the tax authorities and the people.
The 60-day peak campaign is being implemented vigorously, synchronously and effectively by the Thai Nguyen Tax Department. With the motto "accompanying - supporting - transparent - modern", the Tax Department at the grassroots level 1 affirms its pioneering role in the digital transformation process, contributing to promoting sustainable local economic development.
