Police are expanding the investigation into the case.
On May 11, a source from SGGP Newspaper reported that the Tran Quang Dieu Ward Police sent a document to the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee asking for support in transporting evidence at the scene to serve the investigation.
According to Tran Quang Dieu Ward Police, on May 10, the unit coordinated with relevant forces to organize a raid and arrest a group of illegal stone miners in the East of Hon Cha Mountain (section of area 6, Tran Quang Dieu Ward).
Thereby, the authorities suppressed and detained 4 subjects, including: Ph.HXM (born in 1979, in Phuoc An commune); Ph.GL (born in 1990, in Phuoc Thanh commune); NNS (born in 1979, in Phuoc An commune) and PTB (born in 1979, in Phuoc Loc commune; both in Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province).
Currently, the case is being investigated and handled by Binh Dinh Provincial Police in coordination with other units and localities.
