According to Tuoi Tre Online on the morning of May 21, at the stage and main stand of the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, many workers are urgently completing the installation of equipment and the final technical items.

According to Mr. Huynh Nam Thang, vice president and general directorof Sun Group Central region, up to now 85% of the preparations for the opening night have been completed.

With the theme of Da Nang - a new era , the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 is invested elaborately. The main stage is inspired by the typical natural beauty of Da Nang, recreating the image of the Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot with the ocean on one side, the highlight is the shining pearl in the center - a symbol of Da Nang's strong desire for innovation and growth.

With 10,200 seats, this year's fireworks stage has the largest capacity of any fireworks show to date. Not only has the area increased, the DIFF stage is also integrated with many advanced performance technologies.

Specifically: modern mechanical system, with 5 large lifting arches, of which the central arch reaches a width of 21m, nearly double that of 2024.

Two 18.5m wide wings and two additional arches on the riverbank add flexibility and formability to the stage. The combination of large stage area and mechanical engineering creates a multi-layered and dynamic performance space.

Along with that is the new generation of LED floor technology that helps the audience enhance their visual experience, optimizing the viewing angle from every position in the stands. The surround sound is upgraded to suit both the fireworks display and the live concert…

The DIFF 2025 International Fireworks Festival is organized by the Da Nang City People's Committee, with the support of Sun Group. The opening night will take place at 8:10 p.m. on May 31, and the closing ceremony will take place on July 12.

DIFF 2025 has 10 competing teams, including Vietnam (2 teams), Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada and China.

Vietnam Team 1 will perform on the opening night with the reigning DIFF 2024 champion Finland.
