Speaking at the meeting hall, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee and National Assembly Delegation Tran Thi Thanh Huong said that voters and people of An Giang province expressed their excitement, trust and appreciation for the breakthrough and drastic policies and decisions, with the very high political determination of the Party, the National Assembly, the Government... creating the premise to bring the country to take steady steps into the new era. In particular, voters agreed with and highly appreciated the Government's involvement and determination in launching a nationwide campaign against counterfeit goods. However, besides the widespread situation of fake drugs, fake milk, poor quality food... with increasingly sophisticated tricks, the people of An Giang, especially farmers, feel insecure about the situation of fake fertilizers and poor quality pesticides that have been rampant for many years, and are becoming increasingly complicated.
The National Assembly Delegate of An Giang Province recommended that the central ministries and branches further strengthen policies to encourage investment in technology; at the same time, invest more in research, development and application of technology in processing agricultural by-products. The key is how processing technology must be truly suitable for the conditions of the people, truly suitable for the characteristics of each region; each product group; farm scale and business conditions. Thereby, contributing to solving current challenges, at the same time, creating momentum for the sustainable development of the agricultural economy in the future.
