Officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) braved the storm to evacuate residents of Son Minh neighborhood, Hac Thanh ward from the danger zone.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, late afternoon on July 22, the water level of the Ma River rose, threatening the safety of many households living along the dike in Son Minh neighborhood, Hac Thanh ward. As of 4 p.m., the river water had flooded about 20 households.
Stormy rain caused many areas outside the dike of Son Minh neighborhood, Hac Thanh ward to be deeply flooded.
Faced with the emergency, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of the Provincial Police quickly deployed forces and vehicles to the scene to assist in evacuating people and property.

Many households, especially the elderly, children and women, were quickly moved to safety by the authorities. Valuable assets and essential household items such as refrigerators, fans, stoves, and pets were also moved out of the danger zone by the Fire Police officers and soldiers.
Elderly people living outside the Ma River dike in Hac Thanh ward were evacuated from the dangerous area.
As of 6:00 p.m. on July 22, all flooded households in Son Minh neighborhood, Hac Thanh ward had been evacuated to safety.
In addition to evacuating people, police officers and soldiers also assisted in moving people's valuable assets to safety.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Yen, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, said: “We prioritize bringing the vulnerable out first, and at the same time coordinate with local authorities to mobilize forces to help people protect their property. The goal is to ensure the safety of people’s lives and minimize damage to their property.”
