Cao Bang: Groundbreaking ceremony for construction of Soc Ha Kindergarten

On the afternoon of September 3, in Truong Ha commune (Cao Bang province), relevant units started construction of Soc Ha Kindergarten.

The project is funded by the Ministry of Public Security with 20 billion VND, implemented by Deo Ca Group, striving to complete and inaugurate on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Uncle Ho's return to the Fatherland to lead the revolution (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026) and the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Cao Bang (February 21, 1961 - February 21, 2026).

Truong Ha Commune is a particularly difficult border commune, where President Ho Chi Minh returned to the Fatherland to lead the revolution. Although the commune has received attention in recent times for investment in renovating and upgrading its infrastructure, the school system at this “red address” still does not meet the requirements for teaching and learning.

Soc Ha Kindergarten has an area of ​​7,520 m2, with 8 main classrooms and 2 specialized classrooms.

Ms. Dam Thi Trung Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Cao Bang province, said that the facilities of Soc Ha Kindergarten are seriously degraded, lacking classrooms, functional rooms, and playgrounds, directly affecting the care, nurturing, and education of local children. The entire school is taking care of about 160 children, expected to increase to 200 children in the next school year, with a team of 18 staff and teachers teaching regularly. "Therefore, investing in building a new, spacious, standard kindergarten that meets the needs of learning, caring for, and nurturing children is an urgent need of the locality," said Ms. Dam Thi Trung Thu.

Soc Ha Kindergarten is located on a 7,520 m2 land plot, with 8 main classrooms and 2 specialized classrooms. In addition, the school will build a new administration building, a communal kitchen, an outdoor playground and other functional rooms according to national standards.

"This is not only an educational project but also a symbol of the close relationship between the army and the people, of the People's Public Security force for the children of ethnic groups in Cao Bang province."

Representative of the unit assigned to carry out the Soc Ha Kindergarten project, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, General Director of Deo Ca Group, said that accompanying the Ministry of Public Security and local authorities to build Soc Ha Kindergarten is a concrete implementation step to realize the spirit of the Politburo's Conclusion Notice No. 81 on the policy of building schools for border communes, ensuring technical standards, school size and area, having enough facilities for studying, cultural training, spirit, physical fitness, living conditions and absolute safety.

The project contributes to improving the quality of education in remote, isolated and particularly difficult areas, fostering national pride for the younger generation, while strengthening national defense and security on the border and promoting local socio-economic development.
