According to the updated report of My Thuan Project Management Board ( Ministry of Construction ), as of June 30, the entire construction volume of Component Project 1A of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, including Nhon Trach Bridge and access roads, has completed 97% of the construction volume.
Of which, package CW1 (construction of Nhon Trach bridge and part of the approach road at both ends of the bridge) reached 99.2% of the volume.
The remaining items are being urgently completed, including asphalt concrete pavement, installation of traffic safety systems and lighting.
This entire work will be completed before July 30, shortening the contract schedule by about 1.5 months.

For Package CW2 (construction of access roads in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City), 93.8% of the construction volume has also been completed.
The final stages, including asphalt concrete paving, installation of traffic safety systems, lighting and toll stations, are being urgently deployed and are expected to be completed before July 30, about 2.5 months ahead of schedule.
According to the My Thuan Project Management Board, implementing the Prime Minister 's direction, the investor and contractors have mobilized continuous construction in "3 shifts, 4 shifts", working on holidays and Tet to speed up progress.
With the current progress, Component Project 1A will be put into operation on August 19 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
When Nhon Trach bridge is put into operation, it will create a new direction, then vehicles can go from Thu Duc area to Dong Nai more quickly and will not have to go around Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway or National Highway 1A towards Dong Nai bridge.
Component 1A project, Tan Van - Nhon Trach section of Ring Road 3 Project, Ho Chi Minh City, has a length of 8.2 km. Of which, the Dong Nai side is 6.3 km long, the Ho Chi Minh City side is 1.9 km long.
The starting point of the project intersects with Provincial Road 25B in Dong Nai province; the end point intersects with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway in Ho Chi Minh City.
The project has a total investment of VND 6,955 billion (land clearance accounts for VND 2,250 billion) using ODA loans from the Korean Government through the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) and counterpart funds from the Vietnamese Government.
