Echoes of historical song
The program consists of 3 chapters: “Aspiration for Peace”, “Will for Independence and Unification” and “We Proudly Go Up! Oh Vietnam”. The performing arts are staged to interweave the past and present, recreating the heroic history of the nation, demonstrating historical lessons, the spirit of solidarity, and highlighting the country’s achievements throughout its construction and development.

With elaborate investment, the program not only celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, but also recreates the great songs of history, where the heroic past and the present blend together. The selected songs in the program bring the audience back to proud historical milestones such as: Cầu ơi ben bo Hien Luong; Liberation of the South; On the construction site bustling with singing; Hanoi, faith and hope; Marching to Saigon; We are proud to go up! Oh Vietnam; Vietnamese homeland ... With the participation of artists such as: People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Hong Lien, Meritorious Artist Quynh Huong, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Pham The Vi, Tung Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Khanh Linh, Anh Bang,...

In particular, the program has artistic performances with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and many ambassadors and their spouses from other countries. Mr. Marcos A. Bednarski, Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam, shared about the special performance in the program: “I just learned Vietnamese a few weeks ago. Appearing in the performance of Vietnam Homeland, Argentina wants to join Vietnam in celebrating the country's reunification day. This is an important historical milestone, we want to celebrate with you on this occasion. That is our heart. I love Vietnam”.
Before the program "Vang mai khuc khai hoan" (Forever Triumphant Resounding) began, the atmosphere at the three locations was filled with excitement. At Thong Nhat Park (Hanoi), thousands of people from Hanoi and neighboring provinces gathered here very early, expressing their belief in the strength of North-South solidarity, as a reminder of peace and reunion. At the Hien Luong - Ben Hai area (Quang Tri), this is where peace-loving hearts gather, arousing the desire for independence and freedom. At Saigon Riverside Park (HCMC), the youthful and vibrant atmosphere reflects the strong vitality of the heroic city, a symbol of a Vietnam on the rise.

Tran Huu Hao (25 years old, landscape designer, living in Binh Thanh district) shared: “In the past, my friends and I rarely listened to revolutionary music because young people prefer commercial music. But these days, no matter what song about our country and homeland is played, we feel very emotional and proud. Listening and learning, we realize that heroic revolutionary music is also a spiritual resource to arouse the national spirit and solidarity in each person.”
From the audience seats at the Ho Chi Minh City bridge, young person Phan Thi Thu Huong (22 years old, living in Go Vap district) shared: "Being able to sit in the program, listen to the heroic songs and especially the video interviews with historical witnesses, I feel even more proud to be Vietnamese, my fathers' generation during the resistance war was truly heroic and talented to create peace and independence today".
Peace connects joys
Contributing to the re-enactment of the country's historical years are reports with the appearance of many historical witnesses, helping the audience, especially the young people, understand the historical context that forced our people to take up arms to protect independence, expressing the will "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom!". These are reports about the support of the North for the South, millions of hearts beating together, the Youth Volunteers' Departure Ceremony at the Opera House, the Tet Offensive of 1968, the battle in Quang Tri in 1972, Hanoi Dien Bien Phu in the Air in 1972, the Paris Agreement in 1973, the Spring General Offensive and Uprising of 1975.

At the Ho Chi Minh City bridge, the special presence of veteran Tran Van Thanh (76 years old, residing in Quang Trung ward, Vinh city) moved many audiences. Mr. Thanh rode his motorbike from Nghe An to Ho Chi Minh City to attend the ceremony, making many audiences emotional. "I chose to ride my motorbike instead of taking a train or plane because I wanted to see my country, peaceful, beautiful, and peaceful on every road of the beautiful Fatherland," Mr. Thanh shared.
In the emotion when millions of Vietnamese hearts turned towards the great celebration, the HCMC bridge had tears of happiness, erasing painful memories, closing the past. Mr. Adolph Novello (an American veteran) when participating in the war in Vietnam collected many documents. He brought those souvenirs and documents back to the US, kept them in a box for 50 years...
At the Ho Chi Minh City bridge, Mr. Adolph Novello sent the box of martyr Kha Van Viet's mementos to his family. The representative of martyr Kha Van Viet's family, Mr. Kha Duong Tien (the martyr's brother) received it, "This is indeed my brother's photo and identification papers. Today, I came here to bring my brother home, my brother has truly returned to his family. Thank you all!"

The program was held at 3 sacred locations: Hanoi, Quang Tri and Ho Chi Minh City, like an emotional symphony, where each victory, each sacrifice is a separate sound, blending into the great song of the nation about independence, freedom and unity. That song does not only belong to the past but continues to resonate, inspiring the present and the future.
