The People's Council of Lang Ward approved several important items.

At the meeting, the Ward People's Council reviewed, discussed, and approved draft resolutions submitted by the Ward People's Committee, including: a report on the results of implementing socio- economic , security, and national defense tasks in the first six months of the year and the direction and tasks for the last six months of 2025; and other reports and proposals related to the budget, public investment, and the plan to rename residential groups.

The Ward People's Council also reviewed and approved the proposals and draft resolutions submitted by the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council, including: a Resolution promulgating the Working Regulations of the People's Council and its affiliated agencies, and a Resolution on the monitoring program for 2025 and until the end of the 2021-2026 term.

Speaking at the session, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Lang Ward, Nguyen Hong Dan, emphasized the importance of this session in considering and deciding on important issues within its authority, especially after nearly a month of implementing the two-tiered local government model.

The adoption of the Working Regulations of the People's Council, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the committees of the People's Council, the People's Council delegate groups, and the People's Council delegates of the ward, comprising 8 chapters and 60 articles, will serve as a foundation for the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the agencies of the People's Council and People's Committee of the ward to coordinate the implementation of tasks in a systematic, scientific , and lawful manner.

Chairman of the People's Council of the ward, Nguyen Hong Dan, requested that delegates, relevant units, and agencies implement the approved regulations correctly. The Standing Committee of the People's Council and its committees should continue to develop other regulations for synchronized implementation, such as: the Regulation on coordination between the Standing Committee of the People's Council - the People's Committee - the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; the regulation on receiving citizens; and the regulation on handling citizens' petitions and letters.

In addition, focus on strengthening the supervisory activities of the People's Council and its committees at the ward level, especially in the last six months of 2025 and in 2026, demonstrating the people's right to self-governance.

The People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward need to identify and anticipate difficulties, effectively exploit the potential and strengths of the ward, improve the quality of officials, apply digital transformation, and promote administrative reform to achieve the set targets; promote the strength of great unity, build a strong, effective, people-friendly, and sustainable political system in the ward.
