On the afternoon of July 9, before preparing for the first Congress of the Party Committee of Hiep Duc commune (term 2025 - 2030), Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune Tran Thi Thu Huyen and the working delegation visited two elderly party members, Mr. Doan Van Huong and Mr. Le Loi, who are living in the area.

Mr. Doan Van Huong was awarded the 75-year Party membership badge in April 2023, and Mr. Le Loi received the 70-year Party membership badge on May 19, 2023. The leaders of the Commune Party Committee kindly asked about their health, gave them gifts of encouragement, and hoped that they would continue to pay attention to contributing ideas, giving direction and management so that the locality can serve the people better and better.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huyen shared that over the past 5 years, the policies for people with meritorious services and social beneficiaries have been taken care of and promptly resolved by the Party Committees and authorities of Que Luu and Que Tan communes and the old Tan Binh town (now Hiep Duc commune). Localities have guided and prepared documents to resolve policies for 426 cases; supported the construction of 120 new houses, and repaired 74 temporary and dilapidated houses with a total cost of 7.75 billion VND.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and socio- political organizations have promoted their role and effectiveness in participating in humanitarian and charitable activities; preventing and fighting natural disasters and epidemics; and mobilizing the "Fund for the Poor" with over 589 million VND. Attention has been paid to the work of encouraging learning and talent, when mobilizing organizations and individuals to donate 8,740 gifts, worth over 1.581 billion VND to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well.

Inheriting the results, in the 2025 - 2030 term, Hiep Duc commune will promote the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, cultural tradition, solidarity, aspiration to rise up, ensure good social security, and improve people's lives.

Some notable goals set by the commune include: by 2030, there will be no more poor households (except for those under social protection); all orphaned students (from kindergarten to high school) will be sponsored and receive monthly support; establishing a Fund for Encouragement of Learning and Talent with a budget of about 1 billion VND...

Hiep Duc commune sets a goal of achieving the standards of an advanced new rural commune by 2030; striving to achieve over 50% of the criteria of a modern new rural commune; 100% of villages meeting the standards of a model new rural village, including striving to build 2 smart new rural villages; maintaining and improving the quality of schools in the commune to meet national standards level 2; the rate of people participating in all types of health insurance strives to reach 100%; the rate of people participating in social insurance/working-age labor force reaches 20%; in which, the rate of people participating in voluntary social insurance/working-age labor force reaches 5%; the rate of population using clean water sources reaches 100%...
