The "Anti-Online Fraud Campaign 2025 – Slow but Steady" was launched this morning, October 14th, by the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (A05) of the Ministry of Public Security . The campaign is supported by the National Cyber Security Association (NCA), TikTok Vietnam, and VCCorp Joint Stock Company.
The campaign aims to equip the community with information, skills, and tools to proactively identify signs of fraud, while also providing skills and measures to prevent risks and scams in cyberspace.
The central message of the campaign is the 3C safety formula – “Slow to be sure, safer”. In this formula, “Slow” - To verify, always check the source of information before sharing or transacting with it.
Blocking – to prevent risks, recognize warning signs, establish account protection, and configure device security. Blocking - To protect the community, report suspicious behavior, support each other, and together maintain a safe online environment.
At the event, Colonel Ha Van Bac, Deputy Director of Department A05, stated that online platforms, social networks, and technology companies have proactively collaborated with state management agencies to disseminate information, warn against, and prevent online fraud. Platforms like TikTok and Google have actively spread online safety messages to tens of millions of users.
This demonstrates that combating online fraud is a shared responsibility of the entire digital ecosystem.

According to the plan, from October to the end of December 2025, the campaign will be implemented with various communication, warning, and community interaction activities nationwide.
Specifically, the campaign will send alerts, messages, and emails providing safety guidance to millions of TikTok users in Vietnam. It will display alerts directly when users search for keywords related to scams on the TikTok platform. It will also collaborate with experts to release alert and safety guidance content.
Organize workshops and thematic seminars (online and in-person) to update knowledge and share skills in identifying and handling situations with suspicious signs of online fraud. Launch hashtag challenges #ChamMaChac and #LuaDaoTrucTuyen, encouraging the community to create videos sharing experiences and tips on recognizing and preventing fraud...
According to Nguyen Lam Thanh, General Director of TikTok Vietnam, the "Anti-Online Fraud Campaign 2025" is a concrete manifestation of the company's commitment to warning and equipping users with the necessary defensive mindset and knowledge.
