Accordingly, the Department of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Management requested the health departments of provinces and centrally run cities to continue to strengthen inspection, examination, and strict handling of organizations and individuals involved in the production and trade of medicinal herbs, traditional medicines, and fake traditional medicines, to push back smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights; to focus on reviewing, inspecting, and examining establishments in the management area regarding the practice of traditional medicine practitioners, people with traditional medicine prescriptions, or people with traditional treatment methods, focusing on the scope of professional activities of traditional medicine clinics and traditional medicine treatment rooms in the area.

Strictly handle according to the provisions of law establishments producing and trading medicinal herbs, traditional medicines, traditional medicines, traditional medicine examination and treatment facilities that violate the law, advertise without an advertising license or advertise beyond the content approved by the competent authority; advertise falsely, exaggerate the effects of health-related products on social networking platforms.
