That image has been deeply imprinted in the minds of millions of people, becoming a sacred source of inspiration for many later works of art.
In 1990, “See You Again in Saigon” directed by Long Van was a work that left a deep impression on audiences. The film tells the story of the time when young man Nguyen Tat Thanh lived with his family in Hue until he came to Saigon to find a way to go abroad and find a way to save the country.
"See You Again Saigon" caused a stir when it was released, especially the film was praised for the acting and transformation of the two characters. Artist Tien Hoi (as Nguyen Tat Thanh) and Thu Ha (as Ut Van). People's Artist Thu Ha shared about the memory of participating in the first movie about President Ho Chi Minh: "The film crew had to consider carefully when exploiting the story of the historical figure Nguyen Tat Thanh and Ut Van. The story was just enough, not tragic. The relationship between them was both friendship, comradeship, and the heavy heart of the character Ut Van, but above all, the relationship had to stop, to be restrained, because of the great path that Uncle Ho would take when the ship left Nha Rong port. In my career, I was fortunate to participate in many historical film projects, including many works about Uncle Ho such as the play White Night, Please receive the death sentence, the movie Looking out to the sea... I am truly proud and honored". Following that, the movies about President Ho Chi Minh's portrait such as "Hanoi in Winter 1946", "Nguyen Ai Quoc in Hong Kong". Each work, each film about President Ho Chi Minh is a tribute to the father of the nation, who sacrificed his whole life for the cause of liberating the Vietnamese people.
