After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of the two communes have successfully achieved the set goals and tasks. Strong Party, socio -economic development

Phu Vinh is a mountainous commune of Dong Nai province, agricultural production is the main economic sector. The commune has an area of ​​over 69km², a population of over 31 thousand people, most of whom are Chinese and ethnic minorities. With a favorable geographical location for trading goods in and out of the province, along with the potential for eco- tourism and resorts, Phu Vinh has many conditions for development and breakthrough.

Since the beginning of the term, the Party Committees of Phu Vinh (old) and Phu Tan (old) communes have led and directed the comprehensive completion of many political tasks, achieving important results in all fields.

In the field of Party building, political and ideological education work was focused on, and the forms and methods of implementing Party resolutions and directives were innovated. The Party Committees of the two communes of Phu Vinh (old) and Phu Tan (old) admitted 63 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members to 363, an increase of 5% compared to the beginning of the term. The principles of Party organization and activities were followed; democracy and collective intelligence were promoted in the development and implementation of resolutions.

Administrative reform was promoted, the model of a friendly government and a government for the people was effectively implemented; administrative procedures were resolved in a timely and appropriate manner. During the term, no complaints or denunciations related to Party members regarding corruption and waste arose.

The socio-economic sector has developed significantly. Agricultural production has remained stable, with many sectors showing positive changes. The average production value reached 208 million VND/ha, an increase of 32 million VND compared to the beginning of the term. The crop structure has shifted in the right direction; livestock and poultry farming has stabilized, and begun to develop according to the farm model to improve economic efficiency and protect the environment.

Over the past 5 years, total investment in rural infrastructure has reached over 500 billion VND. Many roads have been built under the form of socialization or by the state and the people working together. Land, natural resources, mineral management and construction order have been strictly implemented. The issuance of land use right certificates has met the target.

Implementing the thematic resolution on building a model new rural area, the criteria are assigned to the Steering Committee members in charge of each hamlet. By 2022, Phu Vinh commune will be recognized as meeting the model new rural area standards, and Phu Tan commune will be recognized in 2024.

In the socio-cultural field, the basic targets were achieved and exceeded the plan. The commune maintained national standards on health, social security was guaranteed, and policies for the people were fully implemented, without any violations.

All three breakthrough areas according to the resolution of the Party Congress of Dinh Quan district (old) for the 2020-2025 term have been effectively implemented by the Party Committees of Phu Vinh commune (old) and Phu Tan commune (old). That is, rural infrastructure is constantly being improved, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development and the criteria of a model new rural area. Each commune has exploited its potential and advantages to develop tourism services. The work of building a team of qualified cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers at the commune level. Some key targets and tasks for the Commune Party Committee: Regarding the economy, the annual state budget revenue reaches and exceeds the estimate assigned by the province; budget expenditure ensures the right estimate, is economical and effective. The average annual growth rate of total budget revenue in the area is 3-4%; the average annual growth rate of total product value is 10% or more; the average production value per hectare of crops by 2030 is 250 million VND/ha/year. The average income per capita by 2030 is 125 million VND/person/year, an increase of 40% compared to the beginning of the term. The poverty rate is reduced to less than 1%; the rate of trained workers is 80%. 100% of schools maintain national standards level I, of which 20-30% meet standards level II.

Promoting the achieved results, Phu Vinh commune will mobilize maximum resources for development, perfecting rural infrastructure. Developing culture and society in harmony, on par with economic development. Ensuring social security, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of ethnic groups in the area, especially the Chinese people. Focusing on job creation and sustainable poverty reduction.

3 breakthrough development tasks

Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Vinh Commune, Dao Van Tuan, said that in the coming term, the locality will focus on implementing three breakthrough tasks, including:

Developing agricultural production, focusing on building product brands, linking product consumption, and replicating sustainable, organic, and high-tech agricultural models.
