According to the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee, Thong Nhat Park is the only fireworks display location on the evening of April 27. The event is part of the special art program "Vang mai khuc khai trien" (Forever Triumphant Resounding), broadcast live on VTV1 at 8:10 p.m. the same day. In addition to Hanoi, the program also has two connecting points in Quang Tri (north of Hien Luong Flagpole) and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon River Park).
At nearly 10 p.m., the first fireworks were launched from the multi-purpose stage in Thong Nhat Park, near Bay Mau Lake. With 600 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks, the 15-minute performance brought viewers moments of satisfaction, full of pride and emotion.

To serve the event, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Hanoi City Police have implemented traffic diversion, restricting vehicles from moving through the streets surrounding Thong Nhat Park such as Tran Nhan Tong, Le Duan, Quang Trung and Tran Binh Trong. At the same time, they have guided vehicles to move along alternative routes such as Dai Co Viet, Tran Khat Chan, Pho Hue , Hai Ba Trung.
