Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri said that during the term of the 15th National Assembly, with the working motto of "Solidarity, Responsibility, Discipline, Integrity, Innovation, Overcoming Difficulties, Efficiency", the courts have continued to promote the spirit of initiative, innovation, and creativity in thinking, thinking and working methods, and have proposed many solutions to improve leadership and direction capacity in all stages and fields of work, contributing to the successful completion of assigned functions and tasks, meeting the requirements of judicial reform.

Every year, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court always proactively issues documents to lead and direct the implementation of key tasks of the court work, first of all, strictly implementing the Directives and Resolutions of the Party Central Committee and the National Assembly; directing courts at all levels to strengthen close coordination internally and externally to synchronously deploy solutions that are appropriate to professional work requirements with the motto "the more difficult the task, the more coordination must be strengthened"; strongly promote the role and responsibility of leaders at all levels of courts in innovating management, direction and operation to create positive changes in all aspects of work; strengthen discipline and public service discipline, attach importance to personnel work, focus on leading and directing units to speed up the progress and quality of handling and adjudicating cases and incidents to ensure strict implementation of targets and tasks assigned by the National Assembly.

During the term of the 15th National Assembly, the courts accepted 2,751,104 cases and resolved 2,686,104 cases, reaching a rate of 97.64% (compared to the previous term, the number of accepted cases increased by 317,473 cases and the number of resolved cases increased by 310,121 cases). In 2025 alone, the courts accepted 683,341 cases and resolved and tried 618,341 cases, reaching a rate of 90.49%, 0.77% higher than the previous year (compared to 2024, the number of accepted cases increased by 30,259 cases and the number of resolved and tried cases increased by 32,409 cases).

The rate of resolving all types of cases each year is higher than the previous year and exceeds the target set by the National Assembly Resolution. The rate of judgments and decisions that are annulled or amended due to subjective reasons each year is lower than the target set by the National Assembly Resolution.

In leadership and administration, we must closely follow and effectively serve the country's political tasks in the new era, the era of national development.

Maintain solidarity and determination to build a team of cadres, especially heads of courts at all levels, who must have strong political will, deep expertise, clear ethics, strict discipline, courage to protect what is right, and resolutely fight against what is wrong. Link the work of Party building and rectification with the work of industry building, continue to do well in the work of cadre assessment, planning and training; strengthen discipline, order, innovate inspection and examination work; Promote the role and responsibility of heads of courts at all levels.

Continue to focus on strictly implementing the National Assembly's Resolutions on judicial work, ensuring that court decisions are in accordance with the law, truly bringing justice to society; strengthen institutional building, develop precedents, and ensure consistent application of the law in adjudication.

Perform well the work of resolving and adjudicating all types of cases and incidents, ensuring that the litigation at court sessions is rigorous, convincing, and in accordance with legal regulations; improve the quality of judgments and decisions right from the first instance stage; immediately overcome the situation of judgments and decisions being amended or annulled many times, being declared unclearly, being difficult to enforce, and prolonging the time to resolve cases to consolidate and build the trust of the people and society in the judiciary.

Strengthening conciliation and dialogue in court to quickly and effectively resolve disputes, minimize social conflicts and contribute to reducing work pressure of the courts. Strive to achieve and exceed the work targets assigned by the National Assembly, striving for the work results next year to be higher than the previous year.

Continue to strengthen the application of information technology, promote digital transformation; build e-Court and software for management, case management, virtual assistants; focus on completing information technology projects according to schedule and plan. Increase publicity and transparency of court activities, create favorable conditions for people to access justice and participate in monitoring court activities according to the requirements of the Party, State and law.

Strengthen international cooperation, actively participate in activities, implement agreements and commitments of Vietnam to the court system in the region and the world; thereby contributing to improving the capacity of court staff to meet the requirements of international integration.

Attach importance to and strengthen coordination with the prosecution agencies, Central Committees, Ministries, branches and localities in performing tasks; strengthen facilities, equip means and working headquarters for courts at all levels, strive to complete the investment in building provincial People's Court and regional People's Court headquarters in the 2026-2031 term to ensure spaciousness and modernity to meet the requirements of performing well the functions and tasks of the Industry in the new era.
