Chau Thanh: Thanh Dien commune meets new rural model standards in 2022

Ms. Phan Thi Thu Cuc - Deputy Head of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office awarded the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the model new rural area standards in 2022 to the leaders of Thanh Dien commune.

Attending the event were Ms. Phan Thi Thu Cuc - Deputy Head of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tien - Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee.

Thanh Dien commune achieved the new rural standard in 2015 and advanced new rural standard in 2021. In 2022, Thanh Dien commune was selected as a model new rural construction site. In addition to maintaining the construction of advanced new rural areas and implementing model new rural areas, Thanh Dien commune strives to achieve many important results in socio -economic development.

Up to now, the total budget for building a model new rural area is over 25 billion VND. Of which, the provincial budget is over 14 billion VND, the district budget is nearly 3 billion VND, the commune budget is nearly 400 million VND, credit loans are 3 billion 750 million VND, and people's contributions are over 4 billion VND.

Schools are newly built and reinforced, spacious according to standards to ensure teaching and learning, contributing to improving the qualityof education in the locality; health stations are upgraded, supplemented with equipment to ensure the requirements of medical examination and treatment at the grassroots level; cultural and sports houses of communes and hamlets are spacious, clean and beautiful with healthy living spaces, contributing to reducing social evils in the locality, improving the quality of cultural activities; promoting the implementation of the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life in residential areas; the traffic system is invested in solidification, ensuring convenience for people's travel.

Chau Thanh District People's Committee rewards collectives and individuals.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded 2 collectives, 4 individuals, and 2 families. Thanh Dien Commune People's Committee awarded 13 collectives, 15 individuals, and 10 businesses and individuals who supported the construction of model new rural areas in the commune.
