Fire rages at 3,200m² leather shoe factory in Vinh Phuc - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television

A major fire broke out at 5:53 a.m. on May 19 at Nexus Foam Solution Company Limited, which was renting a factory from Tam Duong Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Duy Phien Commune, Tam Duong District, Vinh Phuc ).

The area where the fire broke out was a 4-storey factory specializing in manufacturing and processing shoe soles, with an area of ​​approximately 3,200m². At the time of the fire, this area was filled with goods, so the fire burned fiercely.

Upon receiving the fire alarm, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Vinh Phuc Province Police quickly dispatched 1 command vehicle, 18 fire trucks, 3 tankers, 1 ladder truck, 5 fire pumps and 130 officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinating with local authorities to spray water hoses to put out the fire.

At 10:00 a.m., the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force continued to deploy forces and equipment to fight the fire and move assets out.

Initially, police determined that no one was injured and property damage was undetermined.

Police continue to consolidate investigation records and clarify the cause of the fire.

Yesterday afternoon, in Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park (Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc), a large fire also broke out at the factory of Vietnam Safety Products and Equipment Company Limited.

Nearly 130 officers and soldiers, along with 18 fire trucks, 3 tankers and many other vehicles were mobilized to put out the fire. Because it was a holiday, there were no workers, and the doors were closed, making it difficult to determine the location of the fire. Authorities had to break the windows to spray water to put out the fire.

The fire did not cause any human casualties but burned down almost the entire factory of more than 10,000 square meters along with raw materials, machinery and production equipment.
