The Party Cell of the Hai Phong City Women's Union successfully organized the Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of June 17, the Party Cell of the Hai Phong City Women's Union (HWU) organized the Party Cell Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were representatives of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee; leaders of the Party Building Committees of the City Party Committee; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and 26 party members of the Party Cell of the HWU.

Comrade Vu Thi Kim Lien, President of the City Women's Union, delivered the opening speech.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Vu Thi Kim Lien, Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Cell, President of the City Women's Union, emphasized that the Congress took place in the context that the whole city is actively implementing activities towards the Party Congresses at all levels, while at the same time streamlining the organizational apparatus to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. This is an opportunity for the Party Cell to evaluate the results of implementing the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term and set out directions, goals and tasks for the new term.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Cell of the City Women's Union has promoted the spirit of solidarity and unity, leading the implementation of assigned political tasks well. Political and ideological education work has been focused on, contributing to maintaining the moral qualities and lifestyle of cadres and party members. The Party Cell has also actively and effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements, social security activities and the work of attracting and gathering female members throughout the city.

The Congress clearly defined the direction for the 2025-2030 term, emphasizing: continuing to improve the quality of Party cell activities, innovating leadership methods, focusing on discovering and nurturing outstanding female cadres, promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with professional tasks and Party building work. At the same time, promoting the exemplary role of leaders, strengthening inspection, supervision, maintaining Party discipline, and building a cultural and disciplined workplace environment.

The Congress discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and the 1st Congress of Party Committees of the City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Intelligence - Responsibility", the Party Congress of the Hai Phong City Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term was a great success, creating a new atmosphere, strengthening trust, contributing to building the Union organization and the team of cadres and party members to be increasingly strong, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
