Ninh Binh-Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department deploys tax tasks for the period 2024-2029

On the afternoon of September 7, the Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department held a conference to evaluate the results of Tax work after 5 years of consolidation (October 7, 2019 - October 7, 2024) and deploy tasks and solutions for Tax work in the period of 2025-2029.

The leaders of the Provincial Tax Department awarded the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Finance to the Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department for its outstanding achievements and leading the emulation movement in the Finance sector.

Attending the event were comrade Dinh Van Tien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Ninh Binh City Party Committee; leaders of Ninh Binh Tax Department.

Established under Decision No. 1692, dated August 28, 2019 of the Ministry of Finance on the basis of merging Ninh Binh City Tax Department and Hoa Lu District Tax Department with 118 officers, civil servants and employees. Up to now, after 5 years of consolidation, Ninh Binh-Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department has 107 civil servants and employees with 8 Tax Teams.

The State budget collection work of the Department has always exceeded the assigned estimate every year with impressive and comprehensive figures in all aspects. The total State budget revenue for the period 2019-2024 is nearly 9,760 billion VND, equal to 120% of the estimate, of which: the estimated tax, fee, charge and lottery is nearly 3,955 billion VND; land use fee is more than 5,800 billion VND. Some tax revenues are high and account for a key proportion of the total budget such as: Revenue from the non-state economic sector; revenue from personal income tax; non-agricultural land use tax... The Department is also always the leading unit in the industry in implementing electronic invoices generated from cash registers.

The results achieved have confirmed the initial effectiveness of the consolidation implementation, especially in streamlining the apparatus and reducing staff. The high budget revenue has created an important resource to promote socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of Ninh Binh City Party Committee Dinh Van Tien and leaders of Ninh Binh Tax Department acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department in the 5-year period 2019-2024.

Secretary of Ninh Binh City Party Committee Dinh Van Tien also provided more information on the implementation of administrative unit arrangement; preparation for Party Congresses at all levels, in which he especially emphasized the implementation of State budget collection targets in the area, which has significantly contributed to promoting local socio-economic development.

Regarding the key tasks in the coming time, the Secretary of the Ninh Binh City Party Committee requested the Branch to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Ninh Binh Tax Department, Ninh Binh City and Hoa Lu District, and further promote its advisory role in budget collection. The focus is on innovating and diversifying forms of propaganda, dialogue, training, and removing difficulties and obstacles for taxpayers. Implementing the Strategy for reform, modernization, and application of information technology in tax management.

Strengthen inspection and examination work; manage and prevent fraud in the use of electronic invoices. Strictly implement the process of tax debt management and tax debt enforcement. Especially, improve discipline, order, improve the spirit, attitude and responsibility of tax officials in serving people and businesses; build a "Transparent - Professional - Integrity - Innovation" tax agency. Determined to exceed the assigned State budget collection tasks.

On this occasion, the Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Finance for its outstanding achievements, leading the emulation movement in the Finance sector.
