Notably, Lai Chau is the first province to announce the benchmark scores at the same time as the 10th grade exam scores. Thus, this is the first province in the country to have the results of the 10th grade admission exam for the 2025-2026 school year.

Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi are the two localities with the largest number of candidates taking the exam in the country, and the exam marking work is currently being urgently deployed.

Specifically, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said it plans to announce the exam scores and grade 10 benchmark scores from June 23 to 26. In the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City has 76,435 candidates registered for the grade 10 entrance exam.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 from July 4 to 6. The total enrollment target for grade 10 at public high schools in Hanoi this year is 81,000, and the admission rate will be about 78.6% - the highest in the past 5 years.

Some localities will announce exam scores and benchmark scores later (July 2025), including: Bac Giang, Ben Tre, Ninh Thuan, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Tuyen Quang. Binh Phuoc province is expected to announce the latest results nationwide, on August 15.
