Measles vaccination campaign for over 12,000 children

The subjects of vaccination are children from 1 to 10 years old who have not been vaccinated or have not been fully vaccinated with measles-containing vaccines according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health . Some localities have a large number of children in need of vaccination such as: Son Duong district 3,160 children, Yen Son 3,120 children, Ham Yen 2,110 children, Tuyen Quang city 2,020 children...

Previously, on March 21, Tuyen Quang province received 12,100 doses of vaccine from the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology for use in the measles prevention and control campaign. Immediately after receiving the vaccine source from the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, the provincial Center for Disease Control allocated the vaccine source to localities for vaccination implementation.

According to statistics from the health sector, from the beginning of the year to the end of March 25, the whole province recorded 135 cases of measles, of which Ham Yen district had 33 cases, Na Hang 44 cases, and Yen Son 13 cases.
