Children of VietNam spends nearly 4.2 billion VND to support scholarships for Hue University students

With a total value of nearly 4.2 billion VND from the non-project sponsored by Children of Vietnam (USA), 30 scholarships will be awarded to disadvantaged students from 3 universities under Hue University.

The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province has just issued Decision No. 2684/QD-UBND dated October 17, 2024 approving the receipt of non-refundable aid not belonging to official non-project support sponsored by Children of Vietnam (USA) worth nearly 4.2 billion VND.

Through this project, Children of Vietnam (USA) will support 30 scholarships to support disadvantaged students at universities in Thua Thien Hue province.

Specifically, the project supports 20 scholarships for the 2024-2028 academic year for 20 students from the University of Education, University of Foreign Languages ​​- Hue University. Supports 10 scholarships for the 2024-2029 academic year for 10 students from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Hue University.

Children of Vietnam is an American non-governmental organization established in 1998, operating in the fields of health care, education and community development in many provinces and cities and has been highly appreciated by all levels, sectors and localities for its results.

To date, tens of thousands of children in Vietnam have received care from four basic programs including: Housing, Health and Nutrition – and two sub-programs: Empowering Women and Children and Hope Care System for Disabled Children.

Children of VietNam's programs have been contributing to changing the lives of poor, homeless or disadvantaged children, students, and pupils, improving their quality of life, providing them with basic skills and many opportunities for change, towards an open sky and a bright future.
