Appoint Mr. Hoang Dinh Van as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Rural Economics Magazine

On October 22, in Hanoi, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Quoc Doanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Gardening Association, presented the Decision to appoint Mr. Hoang Dinh Van, Head of the Reporter Department, to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Rural Economics Magazine.

Attending the decision announcement ceremony were leaders of the Vietnam Gardening Association and key officials of the Rural Economics Magazine.

After receiving the advice of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on October 17, 2025, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Quoc Doanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Gardening Association, signed Decision No. 144/QD-HLV on the appointment of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Rural Economics Magazine.

Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Dinh Van, Head of the Reporter Department, was appointed as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Rural Economics Magazine, from October 17, 2025. The appointment period is 5 years.

Presenting the decision, giving flowers and congratulating Mr. Hoang Dinh Van, Chairman Le Quoc Doanh emphasized that he hopes that in his new position, Comrade Van will continue to contribute, promote his abilities and youth, helping the Vietnam Gardening Association and the Rural Economics Magazine to develop further.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Hoang Dinh Van thanked the Standing Committee of the Association, Chairman Le Quoc Doanh, the Party Cell of the Association for their trust in assigning the task; thanked the Editorial Board for their attention, support, and facilitation, directly from Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, former Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Le Van Thom, Editor-in-Chief, and staff, reporters, editors, and workers, so that he could grow up and have the honor he has today.

In the coming time, press activities in general, including the Rural Economics Magazine in particular, will face many difficulties. I hope and believe that all cadres, reporters, editors, and workers will unite and strive together to affirm themselves and the brand that the agency has built over the past 37 years, thereby contributing positively to the overall success of the Association as well as the Agriculture and Environment sector.

Mr. Hoang Dinh Van, from Thanh Hoa, has a BA in Journalism from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Hanoi National University); a Senior level in Political Theory. Before holding the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief, he was the Head of the Reporters Department, and Head of the Representative Office in Thanh Hoa; Deputy Secretary of the Journalists Association of Rural Economics Magazine; Secretary of the Youth Union of Rural Economics Magazine.
