Agribank Binh Dinh penetrates deeply into the market and leads in market share.

Immediately after the province implemented the two-tiered local government model, Agribank Binh Dinh reviewed and consolidated 12 branches and 10 transaction offices in the former Binh Dinh province, widely publicizing the new names and specific addresses of each transaction point so that customers could know and easily access them.

The bank has also designed and offered many large-scale credit packages with competitive interest rates for individual customers, including a short-term credit package for production and business activities worth VND 50,000 billion; and a medium- and long-term loan package worth VND 10,000 billion for customers buying houses or acquiring land use rights.

In addition, Agribank Binh Dinh also implemented two other credit packages, each worth 10,000 billion VND, for young people to borrow money to buy houses and for loans to buy social housing.

"We are constantly improving the quality of service, simplifying procedures, and creating the most favorable conditions for customers in rural areas to access and borrow capital for production, business, and consumption."

"In addition to fixed transaction points, the bank also organizes mobile transaction points using specialized vehicles in some localities, ensuring that capital reaches customers as quickly as possible," said Mr. Nguyen Huu Cau, Director of Agribank Binh Dinh.

Thanks to its extensive network, Agribank Binh Dinh easily delivers capital and convenient services to customers. Ms. Pham Thi Hong (a businesswoman in the agricultural sector in Quy Nhon Bac ward) said: "Whenever I'm short of capital, I turn to Agribank Binh Dinh and the bank solves my problem immediately, with reasonable interest rates. Thanks to this, we always ensure our contracts with partners, and our business operations remain stable and grow."

As of September 30th, Agribank Binh Dinh had 38,500 loan customers with a total outstanding loan balance of VND 18,500 billion, of which the outstanding loan balance in the agricultural and rural sector reached VND 11,288 billion, accounting for 61% of the total outstanding loan balance, continuing to maintain its number one position in credit market share in the Eastern Gia Lai region.

Boosting credit in rural areas

Recognizing the significant potential and room for development in rural areas, BIDV Phu Tai has strengthened its workforce at six credit transaction offices in the communes of Binh Dinh, Phu My, Bong Son, Tay Son, Phu Cat, and Tuy Phuoc. Simultaneously, it has actively promoted lending to individuals and businesses for investment in production, business, and consumption.

BIDV Phu Tai is currently offering several credit packages with attractive interest rates. For individual customers, the bank provides a VND 200 trillion short-term business loan package with interest rates 0.5-1% lower than the usual lending rates; and a VND 150 trillion medium- and long-term package with competitive interest rates.

In addition, BIDV Phu Tai also offers credit packages to support young people in borrowing to buy houses and many other credit packages for small business owners and customers who receive their salaries through BIDV...

Institutional and business customers can access and borrow capital from a short-term credit package worth VND 450,000 billion and a medium- and long-term package worth VND 75,000 billion.

Mr. Le Ba Duy, Director of BIDV Phu Tai branch, said: “Currently, 3,300 customers have accessed and borrowed capital from the aforementioned credit packages with a total outstanding loan balance of 5,731 billion VND. We continue to improve service quality, simplify procedures, and create the most favorable conditions for customers in rural areas to access and borrow capital for production, business, and consumption.”

The list of banks that have established transaction points and boosted credit in rural areas also includes Sacombank Binh Dinh, VietinBank Phu Tai, Vietcombank Phu Tai, Nam A Bank Binh Dinh, LPBank Binh Dinh, etc.

Mr. Pham Van Khoa, Deputy Director of Sacombank Binh Dinh, said: "We have established credit transaction offices in the wards and communes of Bong Son, Tam Quan, Dap Da, Tay Son, and Quy Nhon Tay, and invested in synchronized technical infrastructure, built card acceptance terminals in these localities, and provided credit packages with competitive interest rates and many convenient services."

The development of credit transaction networks in localities has made it easier for banks to transfer capital and services to customers. Customers have also gained quick access to many bank products with reasonable interest rates for investment in production and business development and consumption. Currently, the bank's total outstanding loans exceed 5,000 billion VND, of which loans in rural areas account for 50% of the total outstanding loans.

By September 30, 2025, outstanding loans for agricultural and rural development in the province are estimated to reach VND 117,970 billion, an increase of VND 4,023 billion compared to the beginning of the year.

Mr. Nguyen Tra Duong, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch XI, affirmed: The expansion of commercial banks' networks and increased lending in rural areas helps businesses and people access more information related to the mechanisms and policies of the Government, the State Bank of Vietnam, and the province.

Customers have more loan options with reasonable interest rates, thereby reducing capital difficulties and interest costs for business development, income improvement, and job creation. In addition, banks' increased lending in rural areas significantly contributes to reducing people's reliance on illegal lending.
