On April 2, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City announced that it had just put into operation the " OCOP Sales Point and Typical Products" with 250 items (handicrafts, natural pharmaceuticals, processed foods, etc.) of 38 enterprises in the city and other provinces and cities at Son Tra Night Market (near the foot of Dragon Bridge, Da Nang City).

Accordingly, the OCOP booth cluster, typically at Son Tra night market, has a scale of 8 colorful booths, neatly arranged, creating convenient walkways for people to visit and shop.
The OCOP products introduced are all typical products, traditional craft villages... of Da Nang and other provinces and cities. The goods are domestically produced, meeting standards on quality, food safety, origin with listed prices.
Mr. Do Ngoc Thi Ca, Director of DHTC Da Nang Joint Stock Company (the unit managing Son Tra night market) said that units and businesses with products will consign goods to the point of sale and DHTC Da Nang Joint Stock Company is responsible for the cost of stalls and sales locations.
"The cluster of OCOP product booths will typically operate from 6pm to 12am every day of the week and the booth will have 3 employees wearing the Company's uniform, both selling products and providing maximum support to tourists ," Mr. Ca informed.
Products displayed and introduced include: OCOP products, typical products, souvenirs, typical agricultural industries, traditional craft villages... of Da Nang and other provinces and cities.
Son Tra Night Market is one of the must-see places for tourists in Da Nang.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Mai, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City, said that the cluster of typical OCOP booths at Son Tra night market is one of the city's trade promotion activities, supporting businesses to connect trade, connect supply and demand... to find, develop markets and promote consumption of OCOP products.
"Regarding product display, the city has been implementing display locations such as at Son Tra night market, markets, supermarkets, tourist attractions... to help people and tourists have more opportunities to access, identify, and promote the consumption of OCOP products and typical products" - Ms. Mai said.
