With the consensus of the people, in the 2021 - 2025 period alone, the total budget for implementing the National Target Program on new rural construction in the locality is more than 58.3 billion VND. Of which, the people contributed over 11 billion VND to build social welfare works, such as: Bridges, roads, Great Unity houses, supporting poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households. Thanks to that, the face of the countryside is increasingly prosperous, people's lives are increasingly improved. The average income per capita of the commune in 2024 will reach 79.3 million VND/person, an increase of 18.3 million VND compared to 2020, an increase of 38.3 million VND/person compared to 2018. Trade and services continue to develop, the quality of education and health care is increasingly improved. Political security and social order and safety are maintained and stable.

An Thanh Trung completed the advanced new rural commune

Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of An Thanh Trung Commune, Nguyen Van Be Hai, said that after achieving the NTM standard in 2021, An Thanh Trung Commune will continue to focus on implementing solutions to consolidate and improve the quality of criteria, creating a solid foundation for building a commune that meets advanced NTM standards according to the Party Committee's policies and resolutions, with the goal of further improving the material and spiritual life of the people. With the determination of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, the face of the countryside has changed from infrastructure, landscape environment, income to living conditions of the people. This result was achieved thanks to the commune effectively applying the motto: "Easy to do first, difficult to do later", combined with "Going to every alley, knocking on every door" to propagate, mobilize, create consensus and promote the role of the people in implementing the advanced NTM construction program.

In An Thanh Trung today, rural infrastructure has been invested synchronously, the new rural area has a new look, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, poverty reduction and job creation have achieved good results. The average income per capita by the end of 2024 will reach over 76 million VND. The poverty rate according to the advanced new rural area criteria has decreased to 0.61%.

In recent years, the commune has fully exploited the potential and strengths of the locality to develop the economy. In particular, in the agricultural sector, investment in developing irrigation systems, restructuring the agricultural sector, applying science and technology to production, implementing agricultural production models with high economic value, converting crop and livestock structures to suit local conditions, helping to increase profits for farmers. Typically, Nguyen Thanh Tung, An Phu hamlet has converted crop structures, with a model of growing durian on an area of 12,000m2 with high efficiency. "On average, 1,000m2 of durian can yield a profit of 30 million VND/year after 5 years, helping the family's life to be more prosperous" - Mr. Tung shared.

With the efforts of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, in the new period of implementing a two-level government, localities in Cho Moi continue to complete the "mission" of building new rural areas to a new level, with the goal of increasingly improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
