Allow Binh Thuan to organize the 3rd National Lion Dance Club Championship

BTO-On the morning of October 18, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan said that the Department of Sports and Physical Training (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) has decided to allow Binh Thuan to organize the 3rd National Lion Dance Club Championship - 2023.

Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is required to coordinate with relevant units to organize and operate the tournament in accordance with regulations, ensuring security and safety during the organization of the tournament until its end.

The Lion Dance Club Championship will take place from November 3 to 9, 2023, with many special events such as: Lion dance on the Mai Hoa Thung Nam; Lion dance on the Mai Hoa Thung Nam and Nu; Dragon Dance (9 pieces); Lion dance on the ground; Lion (Monkey) jumping on the platform; Lion (Monkey) climbing the pole individually (no picking the lucky branch); Lion (Monkey) climbing the pole with the team (no picking the lucky branch). The Lion Dance Competition Rules were issued by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training in 2013. Each province/city/industry (referred to as sports delegations) can register 3 delegations, each athlete can only register to compete for 1 delegation. Athletes participating in the competition must be 16 years of age or older (born in 2007 or earlier).
