Relieve the duties of National Assembly deputies for Mr. Lai The Nguyen and Tran Quoc Nam

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly decided to terminate the duties of deputies of the 15th National Assembly of Mr. Lai The Nguyen and Mr. Tran Quoc Nam according to the request and legal provisions.

On the afternoon of September 22, the National Assembly Standing Committee met to consider and decide on the dismissal of: Mr. Lai The Nguyen, a National Assembly deputy of the 15th tenure from the National Assembly delegation of Thanh Hoa province; Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, a National Assembly deputy of the 15th tenure from the National Assembly delegation of Khanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, based on the Constitution, the Law on Organization of the National Assembly and relevant legal provisions; based on the opinions of competent agencies; based on the Submission of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee; considering the Application for resignation from the duties of a National Assembly deputy dated September 18, 2025 of Mr. Lai The Nguyen; Application for resignation from the duties of a National Assembly deputy dated September 18, 2025 of Mr. Tran Quoc Nam; the Standing Committee of the National Assembly discussed, voted by secret ballot to approve and promulgate Resolution No. 1831/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the dismissal from the duties of a National Assembly deputy of the XV term for Mr. Lai The Nguyen, a National Assembly deputy of the National Assembly delegation of Thanh Hoa province and Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, a National Assembly deputy of the XV term of Khanh Hoa province./.
