Chơn Thành: Guidelines on the content and procedures for nominating candidates for the Ward People's Council, term 2026-2031

On the afternoon of December 16th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chơn Thành ward organized a conference to guide the content and procedures for nominating candidates for the People's Council of Chơn Thành ward, term 2026-2031. Attending the conference was Comrade Hà Duy Đạt, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Chơn Thành ward.

Overview of the conference

At the conference, delegates were informed by the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chơn Thành ward about the results of the first consultative meeting regarding the agreement on the structure, composition, and total number of 39 candidates (excluding self-nominated candidates) for the Chơn Thành Ward People's Council, term 2026-2031; 22 delegates will be elected. They were also guided on the content and procedures for nominating candidates from agencies, organizations, units, and neighborhoods; and instructed on preparing nomination dossiers for the Chơn Thành Ward People's Council, term 2026-2031.
The conference aimed to thoroughly disseminate directives from higher authorities regarding election work; and to provide specific and unified guidance on regulations concerning standards, structure, composition, as well as procedures and documentation for nominating candidates in agencies, units, and neighborhoods, ensuring compliance with the law, democracy, transparency, and strict adherence to regulations.
