On the morning of August 2, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the development of the project "Summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW dated April 10, 2013 of the Politburo on international integration" (Steering Committee) chaired the first online meeting of the Steering Committee. Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the meeting at the Thai Binh bridge.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Decision No. 534/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee to develop the project "Summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW dated April 10, 2013 of the Politburo on international integration" and Decision No. 33/QD-BCĐTKHNQT of the Steering Committee on promulgating the operating regulations of the Steering Committee; at the same time, presented the draft report summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 22 and the work serving the summary of the Resolution that has been deployed to date.

Since 2013, Vietnam has upgraded its relations with 7 countries to strategic partners or comprehensive strategic partners and 7 countries to comprehensive partners, contributing to creating a network of strategic partners and comprehensive partners with 33 countries, including all major countries; officially participating in peacekeeping activities; deeply participating in many FTAs ​​and new-generation, high-standard trade links such as CPTPP, EVFTA... contributing to consolidating and enhancing a favorable and open foreign situation for national development. In 2022, the total value of Vietnam's import and export of goods will reach 730 billion USD. Vietnam's national brand has the fastest growth rate in value in the world in the period 2019 - 2022, reaching 431 billion USD in 2022...

Also at the meeting, leaders of a number of ministries, branches and localities reported to clarify the results achieved, lessons learned, issues raised and directions to 2030 in implementing the international integration strategy and foreign affairs in the fields of defense, security, order, culture, society, science, technology and education and training...

In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee, affirmed: This is a document with strategic orientation significance, marking an important shift in the international integration thinking of the Party and State; unifying awareness and action in the period when our country began to strongly shift from "international economic integration" to "proactive, active international integration" comprehensively, deeply and effectively in all fields, from politics, defense, security to culture, society, science and technology, education and training... Therefore, the implementation of Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW over the past 10 years has brought about 3 major changes for the country, which are awareness, action and the position and potential of the country.

The Prime Minister also pointed out the shortcomings, limitations, and lessons learned in the implementation of Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW; at the same time, he requested that in the coming time, it is necessary to continue to think and creatively apply the three pillars in building and protecting the country, including: building socialist democracy, building a socialist rule-of-law state, developing a socialist-oriented market economy; continuing to implement and concretize the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, diversification, being a good friend, a reliable partner, an active and responsible member of the international community; building an independent and self-reliant economy associated with proactive, active international integration, deeply, substantially, and effectively; implementing the "4 no's" defense policy; making integration truly a strong driving force to maintain a peaceful and stable environment, bringing the country to rapid and sustainable development.

To further accelerate the progress of the summary work, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - the standing agency, the interdisciplinary editorial team and relevant agencies to identify very specific tasks, tasks, contents, roadmaps, etc. for implementation.
