Quan Ke Huy (Ke Huy Quan or Jonathan Ke Quan) was born in 1971 in Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City) to a family of Chinese descent. After settling in the US with his family, he began his career in the film capital of Hollywood. Quan Ke Huy was once a prominent Asian child star, loved in films such as “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” (1984) and “The Goonies” (1985).
Following his initial successes, he gradually disappeared from the screen due to fewer acting opportunities, then switched to jobs such as assistant director and action director.
From 2021, after nearly 20 years away from the spotlight, Quan Ke Huy reappeared in a supporting role in the film “Multiverse War” (Everything everywhere all at once, won 7/11 Oscar nominations). The role brought him an Oscar and a Golden Globe for best supporting actor.
