Chu Se brings preferential capital to the people

Implementing the motto of social policy credit activities close to the people, serving the people most conveniently, since the beginning of the year, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Chu Se district has closely coordinated with local authorities and entrusted organizations to organize transaction sessions at transaction points in 15 communes and towns according to a regular schedule every month.

At transaction points, capital is disbursed quickly, creating the most favorable conditions for people to develop production and create jobs. Mr. Kanh (To Drăh village, Bar Măih commune, Chu Se district) said: “In previous years, my family's pepper garden died of disease. I received a loan of 120 million VND from the local government and the Social Policy Bank. From this capital, I decided to switch to planting 78 durian trees. The capital disbursement was quite fast, creating favorable conditions for my family's investment.”

Most credit activities such as loan disbursement, debt collection, interest collection, savings deposits... are carried out at commune-level transaction sessions. All heads of savings and loan groups participate in full authorization payments.

Mr. Dinh Dong - Head of the Savings and Loan Group of Bar Maih Commune - said: "Currently, the group has 60 households borrowing capital with an outstanding debt of 2.8 billion VND. The capital borrowed from the Social Policy Bank is mainly used by people to invest in growing coffee and durian. We always ensure the work of delegating debt collection, interest collection, and savings deposits from borrowers, then submitting them to the bank right at the commune transaction session according to regulations".

Chu Se district has 261 savings and loan groups operating in 15 communes and towns. According to records from inspection and supervision, 15/15 communes and towns are classified as good in terms of the quality of policy credit activities, 255/261 groups are of good quality. The stability of the quality of policy credit activities at the grassroots level is a necessary condition to help policy credit capital reach borrowers, bringing practical benefits to the people.

By the end of May 2025, the total capital of the Chu Se District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office reached 502.8 billion VND; loan turnover reached 99.5 billion VND with 1,768 households borrowing; total outstanding debt reached 502.2 billion VND with 11,047 households with outstanding debt.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ly - Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Chu Se district - said: "On the basis of taking advantage of capital allocated by the Central Government and capital entrusted for investment in the locality, we have organized full transaction sessions at 15 transaction points in communes and towns to bring preferential credit capital to promptly meet the capital needs of the people".

According to Mr. Ly, the activities at the transaction points of communes and towns are increasingly effective and orderly. The Transaction Office of the District Social Policy Bank has resolutely implemented solutions to mobilize local capital sources and proactively reviewed the capital needs of borrowers.

Some programs have increased outstanding loans compared to the beginning of the year such as: loans for clean water and rural environmental sanitation, loans to support job creation, maintain and expand employment, loans for disadvantaged areas, loans for social housing, etc.
