On March 24, leaders of Co To district and the Department of Construction had a dialogue with ship owners and passenger transport businesses from the high-class Ao Tien port to island communes in Van Don district and Co To district.

In particular, representatives of ship owners and passenger transport enterprises on the high-class Ao Tien port route to communes in Van Don and Co To districts have requested Co To and Van Don districts and related sectors on issues such as: Diversifying tourism products, the issue of routes from the high-class Ao Tien port to Co To district, dredging channels, passenger ship ticket prices, etc.

At the same time, ship owners and businesses also committed not to increase ticket prices from the high-class port of Ao Tien to the island route in Co To district, Van Don in 2025.

It is known that the number of tourists and people coming to Co To island district through Ao Tien high-class port has recently increased sharply every year. If in 2023 there were only 442,287 visitors, by the end of 2024 it had increased to 513,913 visitors. Since the beginning of the year, there have been about 150,000 visitors...
