National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man visits Truong Son and Highway 9 National Martyrs' Cemeteries

This afternoon, April 27, in the sacred atmosphere of the whole country looking forward to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30 (1975 - 2025), Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense, remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence, for the prosperous and happy life of the people at the two Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and Highway 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery.

Attending the funeral ceremonies, on the Central side were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet; Party Central Committee member, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Director of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung. On the Quang Tri provincial leadership side, there were alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of departments and branches.

At the two national martyrs' cemeteries of Truong Son and Road 9, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and central and provincial leaders laid wreaths and offered incense at the memorial to pay tribute to heroic martyrs who died in the two resistance wars for national defense and are resting at the two national martyrs' cemeteries of Truong Son and Road 9.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs - the children from all over the beloved Vietnamese Fatherland who sacrificed their youth, blood and bones for the independence, freedom of the country and the happiness of the people.

After the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the delegation offered incense at the martyrs' graves at the two cemeteries in deep gratitude.
