Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang inspects the progress of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Component 2 Project

(DTO) On the afternoon of August 6, Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang and leaders of departments and branches came to inspect the construction progress of Component Project 2 of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Construction Project Phase 1.

Comrade Tran Tri Quang inspected the project progress at the intersection with Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway.

During the inspection, the investor and construction units reported on the construction progress, as well as the difficulties of the project. Accordingly, the joint venture contractor is currently implementing 40 construction projects. For the route, the contractors are constructing service roads, filling sand to restore, installing absorbent wicks and filling with additional load to treat weak soil.

For the bridge construction, contractors continue to test pile driving, mass pile driving, substructure construction, beam production, beam installation; continuous floor beam construction (weak soil treatment by engineering solutions). The value of completed construction to date is about 938/2,451 billion VND (reaching over 41.5% of construction value).

Currently, the project is still stuck with 2 medium voltage power lines. Specifically, the 220 kV Cai Lay - Cao Lanh high voltage line affects the construction of Ba Huong bridge; the 500 kV Song Hau - Duc Hoa high voltage line affects the construction of Danh Cuu bridge. It is expected that by September 2025, the relocation and renovation of these 2 high voltage power lines will be completed.

Comrade Tran Tri Quang asked contractors to focus on speeding up construction progress.

During the inspection, comrade Tran Tri Quang requested that the construction units must complete the loading work on the entire route by September 15, 2025. After the loading is completed, they must focus on constructing culverts and service roads.

By December 31, 2025, the entire main structure of the bridges must be completed. Comrade Tran Tri Quang requested the contractors to develop a detailed schedule for the project; focus on mobilizing human resources, equipment, and materials to speed up the project's construction progress...
