On the afternoon of November 19, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi visited and presented gifts to the staff, teachers and students of Da Lat University on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

On the occasion of the visit, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi sent his congratulations, deep gratitude, as well as commended the achievements that Da Lat University has achieved in recent times.

Despite many difficulties, Dalat University still trains high-quality students, actively contributing to the development of the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that after the merger, Lam Dong has many opportunities to make breakthroughs, requiring high-quality human resources, and Da Lat University plays an important role in this task.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that, within its capacity, Lam Dong will continue to create favorable conditions for Da Lat University to expand its scale and improve training quality.

The locality actively supports scientific research activities and technology transfer in line with the development needs of the province. The departments, branches and localities of the province continue to pay attention to the further development of Dalat University.

Currently, Dalat University trains more than 14,000 students, trainees and postgraduates in 40 undergraduate majors, 11 master's majors and 7 doctoral majors. Many of the university's training fields have high positions in the country such as Mathematics, Nuclear Physics, Biotechnology, High-tech Agriculture, Information Technology, Pedagogy, Law and Tourism.

The school has a team of highly qualified lecturers with 1 Professor, 18 Associate Professors and 114 PhDs, the percentage of PhDs is nearly 43%, higher than the national average.

The facilities are invested synchronously and modernly; the campus is large, with many green areas, creating favorable conditions for teaching and learning.

Dr. Le Minh Chien, Principal of Dalat University, reported on the results the unit achieved in recent times.

The school also thrives in three main research directions: natural sciences - technology; social sciences and humanities; economics - law - tourism. The number of international scientific articles of the school is always among the top 25 schools awarded by the Ministry of Education and Training.

The school's facilities and equipment have been gradually invested in a synchronous and modern direction, relatively well meeting the teaching, research and learning requirements of lecturers and students. The school has the most beautiful pedagogical campus in the country, one of the largest green areas in Da Lat.

Dalat University has closely coordinated with Lam Dong province to organize 9 training courses for 42 Lao students from Lam Dong's two sister provinces, Champasak and Bolikhamxay, with many majors such as: Environmental Science, Law, Agronomy, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance - Banking, English Pedagogy, International Studies.
