On November 19, Saigon University held a ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Saigon University received the Second Class Labor Medal
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Hoang Quan, President of Saigon University, said that the school currently has 966 staff members, including 2 professors, 53 associate professors and 200 PhDs – one of the important foundations contributing to improving the quality of training.
The school currently offers 8 doctoral programs, 14 master's programs and 48 regular university programs, including 4 high-quality programs and 7 specialized training programs.
The school has more than 25,000 students, trainees and postgraduates studying. In parallel with regular training, Saigon University also effectively implements short-term professional training courses, professional title standards and skills for teachers and educational managers in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.
In terms of quality assurance, the school has completed the second cycle of educational institution quality assessment (2023-2028). To date, 31 undergraduate training programs and 10 master's programs have met the accreditation standards of the Ministry of Education and Training; 4 undergraduate programs have met the standards of the ASEAN University Network.
On this occasion, Saigon University was honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal from the President for its outstanding achievements in education and training in the 2020-2025 period.
In addition, 9 individuals in the school were also awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in school activities.
