On the morning of November 20, in the "flood center" areas in the East of Gia Lai province, the water level is slowly receding. Authorities have not yet allowed people to return home to ensure safety due to concerns about the return of floods.
From last night to this morning, rainfall in the area has decreased significantly. This factor, combined with the reduction of flood discharge from hydroelectric power plants, has helped the water gradually recede.
At locations such as Quy Nhon Bac ward, Tuy Phuoc commune..., water has receded significantly compared to the flood peak on November 19. Many routes have reopened for traffic.
