More than 5,000 athletes recently participated in the 2025 Lien Minh Group Open Marathon held in Xuan Huong Ward (formerly Da Lat City) of Lam Dong Province. All proceeds from those who finished within 45 minutes were donated to the "Every Step, a Dream" Scholarship Fund.

Although the weather in the highlands these days is rainy and cold, with humanitarian meaning, the 2025 Open Alliance Group Marathon has attracted more than 5,000 athletes and guests to attend.

Starting from Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong Ward, the athletes ran through the streets in the central area of Da Lat city before and all those who registered to run reached the finish line, no one dropped out.

All the entrants finished, no one dropped out, and 1,500 people finished within 45 minutes.

According to the regulations of the Organizing Committee, each person who finishes within 45 minutes will have 100,000 VND contributed to the "Every step, a dream" scholarship fund to join hands to help poor studious children in the highlands. Accordingly, 1,500 people finished on time in difficult weather conditions and the total amount collected was 150 million VND. In addition, businesses and individuals participating in the competition also contributed to the fund about 200 million VND.

The marathon attracts the participation of many people from all walks of life because of its humanitarian significance.

The entire amount has been handed over to the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province for management. The organizing committee will coordinate with the Department and other departments, branches and authorities at all levels in the province to give the money from the fund to poor but studious students in remote areas and continue to expand charitable activities in the coming time to spread the meaning of the program.

The marathon has left a beautiful image of solidarity, love of sports and strongly spread the spirit of community. The efforts of each person to complete the competition have a charitable meaning, contributing a small part to support the educational dreams of poor children and those in difficult circumstances. The amount of money collected is not much, but more than that is the heart and affection of each person.

The organizers of the award presented the donation to the "Every step, a dream" Fund.

The organizing committee also awarded first, second, third prizes and 20 consolation prizes for men and women to athletes who finished the 5,000m race. It is known that the Open Alliance Group Marathon will be held annually and is one of the humanitarian, educational and sports activities in the plan of Lam Dong province.
