Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa: Thorough preparation is needed for the series of events commemorating the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam to lead the Vietnamese revolution.

On the afternoon of December 15th, Comrade Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to discuss preparations, agree on implementation methods, and finalize plans for organizing a series of activities commemorating the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam to lead the Vietnamese revolution (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026).

Attendees included: Nong Thanh Tung, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Vu Dinh Quang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Organizing Committee for the series of activities; and representatives from several related agencies and units.

In implementing Project No. 01-DA/TU, dated December 4, 2025, of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing a series of activities to commemorate the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam to lead the Vietnamese revolution (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026), the Provincial People's Committee directs relevant departments, agencies, and organizations to urgently advise, develop, and compile reports, drafts, and implementation plans, ensuring compliance with political and ideological requirements while meeting the technical standards of national-scale programs with the overarching theme: "Following in the footsteps of President Ho Chi Minh - From Pac Bo to the world".

Nong Thanh Tung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and providing feedback on important draft documents and contents regarding: the implementation of a national live television broadcast connecting with Hanoi, Nghe An province, and Ho Chi Minh City, with Pac Bo (Cao Bang) as the main broadcast point; the identification system for the event "85 years since President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam"; the implementation of the national communication campaign; the plan to organize a scientific conference on "The historical significance of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam"; the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space for ethnic minorities in the revolutionary cradle region in Truong Ha commune; and the draft decision to establish six specialized working groups, including: content and communication; television broadcast; foreign affairs; security, safety, and health ; logistics and protocol; and social mobilization and finance. They also clarified and assigned specific tasks to each member of the organizing committee for the series of activities.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa emphasized: The series of commemorative activities under Project No. 01-DA/TU comprises 8 key task groups with 24 specific tasks and is divided into 3 implementation phases: Before, during, and after the event. The Organizing Committee unanimously determined that the national televised program commemorating the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam is the number one priority political and communication task, the most important highlight of the entire series of commemorative activities. He requested that agencies, units, and localities strictly adhere to the "6 clear" principles of management: clear person, clear task, clear time, clear responsibility, clear product, and clear authority. The preparation and organization of the national televised program must be given the highest priority, implemented synchronously and meticulously, ensuring requirements regarding content, technology, security, safety, foreign relations, and progress.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned as the permanent coordinating agency to take the lead and closely coordinate with Vietnam Television, the Political Affairs Department of the Ministry of Public Security, localities with broadcasting points, event units, and other relevant agencies and units to organize and implement the event.

Based on the tasks already underway, in the immediate future, the Organizing Committee members are required to review, finalize, and submit for promulgation the Provincial People's Committee's Plan for implementing Project No. 01-DA/TU of the Provincial Party Committee to serve as the basis for organizing implementation. They should also finalize and submit for promulgation the Organizing Committee's decisions on the establishment and assignment of tasks to the Organizing Committee members, the support team, and the six specialized teams. Furthermore, they should issue the communication plan and the event identity kit for "85th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Return to Vietnam" to ensure unified implementation of propaganda activities. Simultaneously, they should promptly establish and activate the field operations center in Pac Bo, Truong Ha commune, clearly defining the command and coordination point at the site; and closely link the Center's operations with a reporting mechanism to update progress.

Members of the Organizing Committee, heads of departments, agencies, and localities are urged to immediately and seriously implement the assigned tasks; to identify this as a key political task from now until the event is held; to proactively coordinate and ensure the progress, quality, and overall effectiveness, befitting the importance and significance of a national-level political and cultural event of international stature, celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
