Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc An visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Mining Region and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, on the afternoon of April 26, comrade Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited the 101-year-old Vietnamese Heroic Mother Hoang Thi Nghi in Thanh Son Ward, Uong Bi City.

Comrade Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and other comrades in the delegation burned incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the husband and son of the martyr of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Hoang Thi Nghi.

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Hoang Thi Nghi had a husband, martyr Nong Quang Minh, who died in the resistance war against the French and a second son, martyr Nong Viet Tinh, who died in the resistance war against the Americans. In the struggle to protect the great Fatherland, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers like Mother Hoang Thi Nghi became silent soldiers, contributing to the heroic history of the heroic Vietnamese nation in general and the Quang Ninh Mining Region in particular...

At the house of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Hoang Thi Nghi, comrade Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and comrades in the delegation burned incense and commemorated the husband and son of the martyrs of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Hoang Thi Nghi, who fought bravely and sacrificed for the peace of the nation.

Kindly asking about her health and encouraging her spirit, wishing Mother Hoang Thi Nghi to live happily, live healthily, enjoy a warm and peaceful life with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc An affirmed that the noble and steadfast sacrifice of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Hoang Thi Nghi and Heroic Vietnamese Mothers across the country is a shining example of revolutionary heroism, for future generations to forever remember and deeply appreciate.

Representatives of Uong Bi City leaders visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Hoang Thi Nghi.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized that the implementation of activities to care for and support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Uong Bi City in particular and Quang Ninh Province in general is an extremely meaningful action and needs to continue to be carried out well to encourage mothers spiritually; help mothers reduce the pain and loss, live happily, live healthily, continue to educate their children and grandchildren to promote revolutionary traditions, and build a rich and beautiful homeland.
