Hanoi achieved revenue of 73,000 billion VND
According to the latest statistics of the Hanoi Department of Tourism , in the first 7 months of 2025, the total number of tourists to the capital is estimated at 18.36 million, an increase of 11.6% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 4.21 million, an increase of 22.3% over the same period in 2024, domestic tourists are estimated at 14.15 million, an increase of 8.7% over the same period in 2024.

Total revenue from tourists in 7 months is estimated at 73,000 billion VND, up 14.5% over the same period in 2024. In July alone, Hanoi welcomed 2.8 million visitors, up 10.3% over the same period in 2024. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 10.68 trillion VND, up 13.9% over the same period in 2024. Average room occupancy rate of hotels is estimated at 56.94%.
It is expected that the capital's tourism industry will continue to attract visitors through a series of events aimed at celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. According to statistics from online travel booking platforms Agoda and Booking.com, Hanoi leads the tourism trend on the occasion of National Day on September 2.
Ho Chi Minh City welcomes more than 4.5 million international visitors
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said that in July 2025, the city welcomed nearly 696,000 international visitors, a sharp increase of 75.3% over the same period last year.

This is the first statistical data after Ho Chi Minh City implemented the administrative merger with two neighboring provinces, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, marking a new potential development stage of the city's tourism industry.
In the first 7 months of the year, Ho Chi Minh City welcomed more than 4.5 million international visitors, an increase of nearly 48% over the same period in 2024 and reaching about 54% of the target set for the whole year. Domestic tourism also recorded positive growth with nearly 3.4 million visitors in July, bringing the total number of domestic visitors in the first 7 months of the year to about 22 million, an increase of 8.2% over the same period.
Khanh Hoa welcomes nearly 11 million visitors
Tourism in Khanh Hoa province is strongly reviving since the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, in the first 7 months of 2025, the locality welcomed more than 10.8 million visitors, an increase of 16% over the same period in 2024; total revenue from tourism is estimated at more than 42,379 billion VND. Of which, international visitors were more than 3.2 million (up 13.6%, reaching 60% of the yearly plan). Domestic visitors were more than 7.6 million (up 17.1%, reaching 73.4% of the yearly plan).
Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND 42,379.6 billion, up 17.2% over the same period in 2024, reaching 63.8% of the 2025 plan.

In July 2025 alone, tourist accommodation establishments in the province served more than 2.3 million visitors, an increase of 4.7% over the same period in 2024.
In 2025, Khanh Hoa tourism industry aims to welcome 11.8 million visitors, including 5.2 million international visitors and 6.6 million domestic visitors, with tourism revenue reaching 60,000 billion VND.
Vinh Long earns more than 5,000 billion VND from tourism
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long, the total number of visitors to the province in the first 7 months of 2025 reached nearly 6 million (5,929,443), of which domestic visitors were 5,052,827 and international visitors were 876,616. Revenue from tourism activities reached about 5,052.695 billion VND.
The Department assessed that this result reflects the effectiveness of tourism development cooperation programs, especially the coordination of organizing large-scale events such as the first Vinh Long Culture, Sports and Tourism Week, competitions, fairs, special festivals... and promoting destination promotion on digital platforms.
Hue - the most attractive destination in Central Vietnam
In the first 7 months of 2025, the number of tourists to Hue is estimated to reach more than 4 million, an increase of more than 71% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the number of international visitors reached over 1.2 million, an increase of more than 41%; overnight guests reached nearly 1.5 million, an increase of more than 23%. Revenue from tourism reached more than 7,455 billion VND, an increase of nearly 56% over the same period.

In July alone, Hue welcomed nearly 709,000 visitors, an increase of more than 80% compared to July 2024, of which international visitors reached more than 99,600, an increase of nearly 52%. The strong growth figures reflect the rapid recovery and development of the local tourism industry in the context of the National Tourism Year 2025 taking place with a series of large-scale and unique events.
